In the beginning I wanted to show and old and fragile sorcerer while
measering his power with another magician. Thatīs why he looks hounded in
this direction and gets his staff back with his magical power. But when I
made the sketch I had to much and I desired for a stronger body. The
movement was very powerful and didnīt fit for an old man. So I made him
younger and I realised that I liked the idea more then in the beginning.
The surrounding he causes contains much movement and strengh and I liked to

Years ago I already painted a portrait of Frankenstein. The programs

werenīt quite good as today (of course) and the resolution wasnīt so good.

I always wanted to draw another picture - out of my sight. I saw many

pictures of other artists and they always reminded me that I wanted to do a

new pic of Frankenstein. The intention was to create a new portrait in

which I have the ability to show the details that I wanted. The first idea

that I had was that I wanted to show how he was created - but I decided to

show his death.For me Frankenstein isnīt plain an clean concerning the

skin. I have the idea that the different parts of the body have some kind

of rejection, they donīt fit toghether and the flesh gets several colours

and die off,and his eyes look lifeless. For me his character is quite

This one is a closeup of the "Huge Orc" from my other pic "Deathtrap" he has nothing to worry about only some "invincible" warriors :P
I tried to show the orc a little more realistic,my intension was to paint the anatomy not much different like a human,and also not like a cartoon.The face was the most important for me, and so I didntīwant the proportions to look not too human-like. Im planning to do some more clos-ups from my caracters of the "Deathtrap"-Pic like Wulfgar, a.s.o.

Drizzt surrounded by several enemys,another dangerous threat.LOL In this pic i wanted to show some other characters like the huge orc (my favorite) a wicht,and soldiers...and yes Guenhwyvar and Wulfgar ,but i have massive problems with my Screen. I have to change the Hardware... :( PS:I will do from some closeups of several characters like the Orc or the Wicht or Wulfga. Concerning the armor from Drizzt,I took some time to think, about the shape, functionality and when you watch all the buckles and follow the form you will see that the Armor works.

OK.First for all : Dizzt Fans who know all Drizzt Storys,this is only my Imagination. I dont know all Books from him ,but i thought it could be a Scenery or situation that could happen to him (or did that happen?! dont know

Drizzt Do'Urden a Forgotten Realms Character

I Created this Picture for a Audio Book Fanart Competition
My first idea was to make a Scene with his black panther companion, Guenhwyvar.But the Problem was for me the Time for the Deadline (to much other work to do,and i was Drawing a Pic for Spektrum too).So i make only a Closeup, it show Drizzt hidden in the Underdark.I tried to make a lot of details at the Face and Sword,and a minor Backround

This piece is called "The commander". I use the program Coral painter. I like to create things that look old and used but even arenīt build yet in our time. In this piece I tried to create a surrounding of an old spaceship. I wanted to create a situation in future but in future everything already is old and used. I try to mix up epochs. The "woman" (if you can name it so, because she is ment to be extraterrestrial) has a modern look but the clothes and accesories are in a way medieval. Please have a look at the high res picture for a larger view of it. My question for critics: Does the picture show the intended situation (as discribed) to you? Or how do you feel about the pic?
